HD Cartwright School 2025-2026 Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation
In recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day and in alignment with the CBE Education Plan, HD Cartwright School acknowledges and supports the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) Calls to Action, and makes the following commitment to action for the 2025-2026 school year:
"At HD Cartwright School we will, in a good way, continue to identify places across curriculum where Indigenous ways of being, belonging, doing and knowing can be weaved in and then design and offer student and staff learning tasks that intentionally activate the spirit, heart, body, and mind."
Report Cards Available Online – June 25
Families will be able to view online student report cards from June 25 – July 25, 2025. Report cards may be viewed, downloaded and/or printed.
Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.
Outstanding School Fees & Library Books
As we approach the end of the school year, we request that families check their MyCBE Fees Account. The unpaid fees may include field trips, options course fees and lost library books.
Moving Schools? Contact the Office
If your child will be attending a different school in September, we would appreciate families letting us know as soon as possible. Please send an email to hdcartwright@cbe.ab.ca especially if the school is outside of CBE. Please include the full name and grade of your child, and if known, the name of the new school they will be attending.
Don't Ghost Your Inbox: CBE Students Must Move or Delete Files Before Departure
The CBE is reminding all students to save their files they wish to keep on a personal drive prior to June 25, 2025. It is especially important for students who are graduating or leaving the CBE to move all files over to personal storage because they will lose access to their CBE account after August 31, 2025, and their CBE email address and inbox will be deleted permanently.
