Clubs

At H.D. Cartwright we believe in offering students multiple opportunities to build connections to the school community. Clubs are another way that students can get involved, contribute and be active in their school community. Clubs are mostly offered over the lunch hour, with a few being offered before or after school. These are led by staff who wish to provide rich opportunities for students who are like them, eager to make HDC an exciting and meaningful school with active student voice.

Some of the clubs that we currently have running are:

• Board Game Club - Monday (lunch)
• Diversity Council - Monday (lunch)
• Model UN/Debate Club - Monday (afterschool) 
• City of Calgary LEAD Program - Monday (afterschool)
• Technology/Coding Club - Tuesday (lunch)
• Drama Club - Tuesday (lunch)
• Chess Club - Wednesday (lunch)
• Knitting & Crochet Club - Thursday (lunch)
