Dear Parents/Guardians!
We had a fabulous first full(ish) week with students! We have been so impressed by how well they have started the school year. They have done an amazing job of adapting to new routines and done a fantastic job of interacting with each other and the staff in a positive way! Connecting and building positive relationships is what we strive to do each and every day at HDC!
We are looking forward to our annual Fall Field Day this coming Friday. This energy packed day that focuses on cooperation, teamwork, and fun is always a student favorite.
Have a fantastic week!
Jim & Brandie

Student Code of Conduct
We ask that all students and parents/ guardians review the CBE Student Code of Conduct . It outlines the expectations for our students to promote positive and inclusive learning environments, help students to develop empathy, and become good citizens both within and outside of the school community,
It is our belief that all students make mistakes as they navigate through adolescence. Our CBE Progressive Student Discipline policy outlines how we work with students to help students learn from their mistakes, allow for the restoration of relationships, and ensure all students understand how to respect themselves, others, and their community.
If you have any questions regarding either document, please feel free to connect with Mr. Parent or Ms. Ferrell at the school.
Required Student Forms - PLEASE COMPLETE ONLINE
Each year, schools have various forms that parents/legal guardians must complete or review and update, some of which are paper and others online. In CBE, the forms in an online format (SchoolEngage) are:
- Demographic Verification – 2024–25 – This form includes your child’s personal information and parent/legal guardian contact information.
- Citizenship Information Update – 2024-25 – This form becomes available if you change your child’s citizenship information on the Demographic Verification form.
- Annual Authorization – 2024-25 – This form provides consent for school and district use of personal information.
SchoolEngage is one of the applications found in your MyCBE account. This is the same account that you use to pay fees, view academic information, book school conferences, etc.
If you do not have a MyCBE account, on the MyCBE page click on Create a MyCBE Account. For online help refer to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video).
To complete these forms:
- Sign in to your MyCBE account
- Cick on the SchoolEngage icon
- Select the form
- Complete or review and update the form
- Click on Submit to send the form electronically to the school
- Repeat steps 3-5 for each form
Please submit the Demographic Verification and Annual Authorization forms in SchoolEngage for your child by Friday, September 13th. If you have any questions regarding the forms, please call the school office.
