We are getting excited for our WinSport Ski/Snowboard day on Thursday, January 30, 2025. A few reminders are listed below. 

Students will be provided with rental gear and a full day lesson. Those who wish to bring their own gear, will have to arrange to drop it off at WinSport on the day of the lesson. 

*Get your gear ready now!!!! Participating students are asked to start gathering their gear for this winter activity, to ensure they are prepared. 

The following items are required:  

• Snow pants (or other waterproof pants)  
• Mitts or gloves (preferably waterproof)  
• Snow jacket  
• Long socks. Avoid wearing multiple socks at once, this will increase the likelihood of blisters  
• All provided rental equipment, including a ski and snowboard approved snow sports helmet (students may use their own approved helmet). Please no bike or hockey helmets 

If a student is not equipped with the above items, they may not be permitted to participate in the program. 

The following items are highly recommended:  

• Snow goggles or sunglasses  
• Buff/neck warmer/balaclava  

WinSport will provide the following rental equipment:  

• Skis or snowboard  
• Boots  
• Bindings  
• Poles (grade and level dependent)  
• Ski & snowboard approved helmet
